Cambridge Who's Who Names Frederick A. Randall Professional of the Year in Actuarial Services

Mr. Randall found immediate success in his field as a consultant

UPTON, MA, October 05, 2011 /Healthcare PR News/ -- Frederick A. Randall, Board Member and Actuarial Consultant for Generation Life and Gen Two, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Actuarial Services. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

Mr. Randall founded Randall Enterprises, an actuarial and financial consulting firm, in 2002. As a board member and consultant of Generation Life and Gen Two, Mr. Randall's expertise is in the overall financial management of a life insurance company. In addition to being one of the Directors that oversees the companies, he is directly responsible for the pricing, development and medical underwriting required for each product. These companies commenced in 2007, and despite the difficult economic climate, both are operating profitably. He is the former senior vice president, chief actuary, and chief financial officer of the CGU Life Insurance Company, formerly called Commercial Union Life and now called Aviva Life. He served as a board member of these companies for over a decade. He married his wife as a senior in college and began work in the field in order to support his new family. He now has four children and five grandchildren. He has had past actuarial management level area responsibilities for a full range of life, health and annuity products in both mutual and stock life companies. He boasts a profound general knowledge of the industry.

Mr. Randall received a Master of Science in actuarial science from Northeastern University in 1969 and a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from The Johns Hopkins University in 1967. In addition to his degrees, he is also a chartered financial consultant, a fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, a fellow of the Life Office Management Institute and a former vice president and president of the Boston Actuaries Club.
