Haiti Village Health Appoints Communication Associates as New Marketing Services Partner
Dr. Tiffany Keenan, Founder and Director of Haiti Village Health, is pleased to announce the appointment of a new marketing partner, Communication Associates, a marketing firm serving the non profit and medical communities for over 15 years.
GEORGETOWN, ON, December 15, 2011 /Healthcare PR News/ -- December 2011 (Bod Me Limbe, Haiti) Dr. Tiffany Keenan, Founder and Director of Haiti Village Health, is pleased to announce the appointment of a new marketing partner, Communication Associates, a marketing firm serving the non profit and medical communities for over 15 years. Haiti Village Health (HVH) is a five-year old non profit, medical NGO operating in the north of Haiti. HVH provides medical care and community health programs to a primarily rural population of 25,000 around Bod Me Limbe and in Cap Haitian.
Haiti Village Health relies on volunteer medical professionals from throughout North America and the Caribbean for service delivery, and on public donations, foundation grants and corporate support for funding. A seasonal appeal featuring a catalogue of gifts for villagers, from mosquito netting to a new well, is currently being launched.
"Our primary focus for the coming year is on maternal and pediatric health outreach programs, water and sanitation projects and training Haitians in the administration of public health programs," says HVH Founder and Director, Dr. Tiffany Keenan, an Emergency Physician from Canada now living in Bermuda. "We are pleased to have partnered with Communication Associates to accomplish our marketing objectives."
Communication Associates will be developing a new web site designed to encourage donations, sign up volunteers and attract sponsorships. The company will also roll out a new corporate identity and support fund raising strategies with marketing materials. CA has been the marketing agency for Healing Hands for Haiti since 2006 as well as other non -profits. Eric Doubt and Marnie Hughes, a CA associate, have traveled and volunteered in Haiti during that period.
Following the catastrophic earthquake of January 2010, Haiti is enduring one of the worst epidemics of cholera in modern history: 600,000 people have been stricken with the disease and more than 5,000 have died in the last year.
