As Head of the Forensic Division with St. Joseph's Healthcare of the University of Western Ontario, as well as throughout his brilliant professional career, Dr. Mejia has routinely demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Dr. Mejia works with mentally ill individuals of all ages who have problems with the law due to their disorders. During his collegiate career, he earned a PhD in Human Genetics as well as a Medical degree in Forensic Psychiatry and Child Adolescence Forensic Psychiatry. Dr. Mejia is a member of the Canadian Psychiatry Association, Canadian Academy of Psychiatry and Law, Canadian Medical Association, Ontario Psychiatry Association, International Association of Forensic Mental Health Services, and the American Academy of Psychiatry Educators.
