Linda L. Klebanoff Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Medical Secretarial Science
Linda Klebanoff was recently selected for inclusion in Pro-Files Magazine
NEW HAVEN, CT, July 22, 2011 /Healthcare PR News/ -- Linda L. Klebanoff, Retired Medical Secretary, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in medical secretarial science.
Throughout her 18-year career in the health care field, Ms. Klebanoff reviewed manuscripts for submission to scholarly medical journals and performed secretarial duties for a number of doctors. She was inspired to pursue a vocation in the medical field by her father, who was a doctor. Passion for her work served as the driving force behind her many years of professional success. Ms. Klebanoff worked for a number of well-known doctors and individuals, and enjoyed working in such different cities as New Haven, Conn., White Plains, N.Y., and Los Angeles, Calif.
In 2010, Ms. Klebanoff was recognized by Cambridge Who's Who as a Professional of the Year in Medical Secretarial Science. She was also recently selected for inclusion in Pro-Files Magazine.
Ms. Klebanoff earned an Associate of Science in medical secretarial science from Endicott College and graduated with the highest academic honors in her class. Since 2008, she has served as the school's primary correspondent for the class of 1958. She is actively involved with the National Council of Jewish Women and has served in various offices for the Greater New Haven Section of the organization since 1986. The council presented her with a special recognition award in 1991 — an honor of which she is particularly proud. In her youth, Ms. Klebanoff also received honors in the musical field; she was an accomplished violin soloist and a member of the Johnson Junior Symphony Orchestra.
Although Ms. Klebanoff was diagnosed with cancer in May 2010, after surgery and treatments, she is presently cancer-free. Her hobbies include needlework, shopping, swimming, reading and listening to music.
